Wallet & Self-Custody Terms
How your Bridge wallet works, the irreversibility of transfers, and where our responsibility ends.
1. Your wallet
Bridge generates an on-chain wallet for your account. The private key is stored encrypted on our infrastructure so that the platform can operate payouts on your behalf. You may export the key at any time.
Bridge is not a bank, custodian or licensed financial institution, and balances are not insured or guaranteed.
2. Transfers are irreversible
Blockchain transactions cannot be cancelled, reversed or refunded once broadcast. If you send funds to a wrong or incompatible address, or on the wrong network, they are permanently lost and Bridge cannot recover them.
You are responsible for verifying the destination address, the network and the amount before confirming any transfer.
3. Your passcode and exported keys
Your wallet passcode protects transfers from your account. Bridge cannot recover a forgotten passcode by reconstructing it, and repeated failed attempts lock the wallet.
If you export your private key you take full custody of it. Anyone who obtains that key controls the funds. Bridge cannot freeze, reverse or recover funds moved with an exported key, and has no visibility of what you do with it. Never share it, never enter it into another website, and store it offline.
4. Network and asset risk
Transfers depend on the Asset Chain and other supported networks, which Bridge does not control. Congestion, halts, forks or failures may delay or prevent a transaction.
Token values fluctuate. Bridge does not provide investment advice and makes no representation about the value or liquidity of any token.
