Sponsor Agreement

You confirm you are authorised to create bounties, commit funds and enter this agreement on behalf of the organisation named on your sponsor profile, and that the organisation details you provide are accurate.

A bounty must be funded before it goes live. Funds are held in escrow by Bridge and released according to the outcome you record.

Escrowed funds are committed to the bounty. Refunds are available only where the bounty is cancelled before submissions are received, or in the other circumstances described on the funding page, and may be net of fees already incurred.

Platform and listing fees are disclosed before you fund and are non-refundable once the bounty is published.

You must state the scope, reward, deadline and judging criteria clearly and honestly, and judge submissions against the criteria you published.

You must select winners and release payment within the timeframe stated on the bounty. Escrowed rewards for a completed bounty are owed to the selected creators; you may not withhold them because you changed your mind about the campaign.

You must not require creators to perform work outside the published scope as a condition of payment, or contact creators to move the engagement off-platform in order to avoid fees or obligations.

Creators grant you the licence set out in the Creator Submission Agreement. Read it — it is the limit of what you may do.

In particular, you may use submitted work for marketing, promotion and editorial purposes connected to the bounty and to your own promotion, with attribution where practicable. You may not resell it as a standalone product, register it as your own intellectual property, or use it in a way that is defamatory or that falsely implies the creator endorses an unrelated product.

You may use submissions from creators you did not select only where the bounty page said so before submissions opened. Otherwise, non-winning work may not be published.

This applies to every submission you receive, not only to the winners.

Creator profile and submission data is disclosed to you to run the bounty. You must use it only for that purpose, keep it secure, and not add creators to marketing lists without their consent. You act as an independent controller of that data and are responsible for your own compliance.

You indemnify Bridge against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your bounty, your use of creator content beyond the licence granted, your failure to pay a selected creator, or your breach of this agreement.

Bridge operates the escrow and payout mechanism but is not a party to your engagement with a creator and does not guarantee the quality, originality or performance of any submission.
