Creator Submission Agreement

Ownership, originality, and the licence you grant over work you submit to a bounty.

Version 1.0Effective 7 September 2026

1. What this covers

This agreement applies each time you submit work to a bounty. You accept it per submission, and the version you accepted is recorded against that specific bounty.

2. You confirm the work is yours

You warrant that the work you submit is original to you; that you own it or have all rights necessary to submit it and to grant the licence below; that it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights; and that it does not contain confidential information belonging to someone else.

If your work features other identifiable people, you confirm you have their permission for the uses described below. If it uses third-party music, footage, images, fonts or code, you confirm you hold a licence that permits those uses.

3. Licence you grant

You keep ownership of your work. You grant the sponsor of the bounty and Bridge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, host, reproduce, distribute, publicly display and perform, adapt for format and length, and translate the submitted work, together with your name, handle and avatar for the purpose of attribution.

That licence is granted for marketing, promotional, editorial and archival use connected to the bounty and to the sponsor’s and Bridge’s own promotion, across any medium including social platforms and paid advertising.

The licence takes effect when you submit and continues perpetually for material already published under it. It does not transfer ownership, and it does not permit the sponsor to resell your work as a standalone product, to register it as their own intellectual property, or to use it in a way that is defamatory or that falsely implies your endorsement of an unrelated product.

Where a bounty states different or additional terms — for example an exclusive buy-out, or a full assignment of rights on winning — those bounty-specific terms are shown on the bounty page and apply in addition to this agreement.

4. Moral rights and attribution

You will be credited where it is reasonably practicable to do so. You agree not to object to reasonable editing, cropping or reformatting needed to publish the work on a given platform.

5. Judging, payment and disputes

Submitting does not guarantee selection or payment. Selection is at the sponsor’s discretion against the criteria stated on the bounty.

If your submission is selected, payment is made to the wallet on your Bridge account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout details and for any tax arising.

If a third party claims your submission infringes their rights, you agree to cooperate with Bridge, and Bridge may remove the submission while the claim is assessed.

6. Consequences of a false warranty

Submitting work that is not yours, that is plagiarised, or that infringes a third party’s rights is a serious breach. It may result in disqualification, forfeiture of any reward, removal from the platform, and liability for loss suffered by Bridge or the sponsor as a result.
